Felice A. Kaufmann Award

The Felice A. Kaufmann Award is presented to individuals who are not Presidential Scholar alumni but who have demonstrated exceptional support for Presidential Scholars, the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, the Presidential Scholars Foundation, or the broader alumni community. This award recognizes efforts that deepen understanding of the Scholars program, expand opportunities for Scholars, or strengthen the network and resources available to current Scholars and alumni.

Rosey Thompson Award

The Rosey Thompson Award recognizes Presidential Scholar alumni who have made sustained, significant contributions to advancing educational opportunities and strengthening civil society through both their personal commitments and professional work. Named in honor of Rosey Thompson, a dedicated advocate for equitable access to learning and civic engagement, the award celebrates alumni whose leadership, service, and innovation have expanded opportunity, promoted inclusion, and fostered civic responsibility in their communities.
